Lisa Beth Gansberg

Executive Director

Lisa Beth comes to FEMR with over 20 years of fundraising experience, specifically focusing on the quality of life for those living with life-threatening illnesses.

She is well versed in foundation management and recognized for her ability to form relationships within both the corporate and private sectors to increase awareness of health related issues and raise funding for advanced research.

An avid sports fan, runner and exercise enthusiast, Lisa Beth is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and understands the implications of injury prevention in living an active life. She graduated from Syracuse University with a self-designed major focusing on all aspects of communication design and fundraising business development. However, the majority of her expertise comes from her commitment to “paying it forward’ and creating avenues to fulfill this goal on a continual basis.

Together with her team, Lisa Beth promotes the FEMR mission to empower individuals with the knowledge to act preventively and make educated decisions about bone health issues. She welcomes partnership opportunities, encourages community involvement and individual participation to further the work of FEMR.

 

Tracy Sferra

Program Director

Tracy Sferra Tracy is the course coordinator for the Annual Chicago Trauma Symposium. In it's 14th year, this Symposium is the preeminent venue for orthopedic trauma education.

In addition to her owrk for FEMR, Tracy has been with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute since 2000 and currently serves as the Director of Research and Trauma Education.

Tracy Sferra received a M.S. in Exercise Science/Health Promotion from the University of Oklahoma as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She completed her B.S. in Sports Medicine at Bowling Green State University.

Tracy's commitment to FEMR's mission and goals is evident in the care and dedication that she brings to her positions. As a professional who has dedicated her life to trauma education, Tracy is a perfect fit with FEMR.
